UNIT 5 Final version of Our eTwin magazine

After reading my peers' assessment I changed what  I understood  as the weaknesses of my draft. UNIT 4 Collaborative activity

One of the goals of my project plan is to encourage pupils to communicate in a foreign language on real life topics. The topic of this activity is Pets. They should use Padlet tool in order to find out more about their peers' pets. They would be divided in groups (each country participant is one group), the padlet is joint. Each student should only write in the beginning what pet they have. The other groups should ask questions about it (colour, name, breed, what it likes and so on), and then write an article about it in the joint padlet. After completing the text each student should add a photo of his pet.

Unit 3 strengths and weaknesses

After reading my peers' assessment I'm glad that my project draft has more strengths than weaknesses. The strength of it is that it curricular integrated, and the weakness is that it could involve more students and more countries. The drafts I read are all very interesting and I hope that my comments have been helpful, they all have good ideas which can be more thoroughly developed in the final version of the project.

Our eTwin magazine-project draft

This is a more detailed version of my project draft called Our eTwin magazine . My idea is that this project is for two schools and for small groups of students (school clubs) so that it would be easier to schedule tasks and meetings, but that can be changed if more experienced eTwinners are ready to share their skills!  PROJECT DRAFT:  Our eTwin magazine Name of the project: Our eTwin magazine Language: English Age of students: 11/12 Subjects: English as a foreign language, ICT Participants: Two schools with a group of 10 students each. Unit 2 Areas of improvement and helpful projects

Unit2 is getting by and these are my thoughts on it: What  needs or areas of improvement and learning  have I detected in my teaching? In my Paddlet note i mentioned that i'm not happy with the time that my students spend  communicating in English and that i would like to increase students' talking time by enabling them to talk to their peers from abroad in eTwinning projects. I also agree with colleagues who mentioned the lack of ICT equipment as a considerable problem. Including projects in the regular school curriculum is a next challenge, too.  A possible option is to involve small groups and do projects as an extra curricular activity and maybe to find one partner from abroad for a start. Though i participated in two projects so far, they were not finalized  and ended with posts on twinspace. That's why i think it would be easier to communicate with one colleague teacher to work on goals and steps of the project.  What  projects  have I found that might he

Starting Open eTwinning

Open eTwinning MOOC has started and I'm looking forward to exploring and discovering all the tools and resources on the way. I've been an eTwinner for a period of about two months now and I've participated in two projects, so I hope that during this course I will learn about different tools and possibilities which I will be able to put in practice in the future eTwinning projects.
